This training is an excellent opportunity for anyone to gain firsthand experience in the social services that our community needs. As hotline volunteers, you will often be the first voice of support that survivors of crime hear during their most challenging moments. You will learn about the injustices faced by marginalized communities navigating traditional justice routes, and you will actively participate in reshaping societal agendas that often silence those affected and overlooked by the justice system and the community.
