Happy Holidays from the Palouse Choral Society! Let us sing in the festive season when you attend “My Spirit Rejoices.” We will be filling the performance space with joy for the world! Performing ensembles will include the PCS Chorale and Children’s Choir as well as a guest orchestra to join us on several pieces. The Chorale performances will include Sergei Rachmaninoff’s “Bogoroditse Devo,” “O Magnum Mysterium” by Tomas Luís de Victoria, and Zanaida Robles’s “Kuumba” from her Kwanzaa Songs series. The Chorale and Children’s Choir sing together for special performances of Carolyn Jennings’s “Climb to the Top of the Highest Mountain” and Daniel Kantor’s holiday favorite “Night of Silence.” In addition, we are excited to present J.S. Bach’s stunning Magnificat in D, featuring our guest orchestra as well as soloists from the Chorale. Our guest orchestra will also present the perennial favorite “Winter” from Antonio Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons.
