The Pullman Chamber of Commerce is set to host an upcoming Candidate Forum, featuring candidates for Pullman City Council and Whitman County Commissioner next Monday, Sept. 15 from 8 to 9:30 a.m. at the SEL Event Center.
Moderated by Pullman Chamber Government Affairs Committee Member Paul Kimmell, the forum provides Chamber Members with an opportunity to hear directly from local candidates about their plans to support the Pullman business community. Questions for the candidates will be provided exclusively by Chamber Members. Members are encouraged to submit questions in advance to help guide the discussion. Questions must be submitted by noon on Friday, Sept. 12 to chamber@pullmanchamber.com to be considered for inclusion.
“This Candidate Forum is different as it is aimed at getting perspective from the candidates that are most relevant to our Membership,” said Government Affairs Committee Chair Tim Braun. “We have pushed a call-to-action from our members to bring forward those important business or nonprofit questions of how candidates can or cannot influence the business pulse of Pullman,” Braun added.
The forum is free to attend and open to all members of the public. The Pullman Chamber kindly requests that individuals RSVP by emailing chamber@pullmanchamber.com
